Voyageurs in the Community

Voyageur Athletics, our Student-Athletes and Coaches take great pride in their community outreach efforts. Each year players, coaches and our Mascot, Eddy Rocks, volunteer hundreds of hours out of their busy student-athlete schedules to volunteer in our community. Each year you can see Voyageur’ assisting with such events as Minor Hockey tryouts, concerts, Winter Walk Day, Terry Fox Run, Family Fun Days at local schools.

If you are interested in having any member of Voyageur Athletics Department attending one of your events, please complete the online request form below. For the best chance for us to process and coordinate your request we request a minimum of 2 weeks. We will accept requests with shorter lead time; however, it may limit our ability to provide exactly what you are requesting.

All received requests will be responded to within 48 hours. A confirmation email will be sent to the contact person indicated on the form submitted once all details are confirmed and availability has been determined. Submitting a request online does not guarantee an appearance. Please keep in mind that coaches and/or student-athletes may not be available during certain times of the year dependent on schedule.

Once an appearance request is confirmed, we ask that you provide accurate driving directions, location, on-site contact name and phone number. A friendly and safe environment must be maintained. Student-athletes and coaches reserve the right to walk away from any appearance deemed unsafe or harmful.

There are a limited number of clinics and player appearances available throughout the season, so apply early and better your chances of having a clinic or event hosted by Voyageur Athletics. The Portage College Athletics Department and the Voyageur teams love to give back to the community that supports them.
