Fans in the stands could see it - even feel the intensity on the ice.
The first few exhibition games are in the books for the Portage College Voyageurs, but they have been playing like they're regular season games.
New behind the bench this year is Associate Coach Kevin McClelland - former Edmonton Oiler who played during the dynasty years. He sees the effort on the ice as does Head Coach Nate Bedford. Bedford has signed new recruits and says they fit right in.
Hopes and excitement are at an all time high in Lac La Biche County. This is hockey country and the 2019-2020 season promises tons of action.
The Home Opener for Voyageurs Hockey is Saturday, October 12th at the Bold Center. Puck drops at 7:00pm.
