It's a brand new start for both Men and Women's Soccer in Lac La Biche.
This is the first year for Portage College's Soccer program in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC).
Competition has been tough for both the home team squads. All six other teams in the league have experienced players who have much more field time.
Coach Claude Bolton has high hopes for both the men and women's teams. Bolton built the teams, their training programs and helps to inspire the athletes to see themselves at the next level.
This regular season has 12 games. Seven teams are in the same division as the Voyageurs, 14 in the conference and the top three will make the playoffs.
