Business Programs are a Win-Win for Athletes!

We are proud of our student-athletes and appreciate the challenge of balancing sports and studies.

The Program Coordinator of our Business Programs shares with us a pretty incredible statistic! According to Val Lyons, "49% of Business students at our Lac La Biche campus play for one of our athletic teams: hockey, soccer, futsal and golf." She adds, "Our recent BBA collaboration with NAIT is a win-win for the Business programs in Lac La Biche and our student athletics programs. Having a four-year degree program at Portage College creates an opportunity for greater development of business graduates, our sports teams and economic development in our community."
