Local golfer on par with best in Country

Portage College Community Social Work student Lyric Lewis's impressive bronze medal performance at the ACAC Golf Championship has earned her entry into the CCAA National Golf Championships this weekend in Cégep Champlain St. Lawrence in Quebec City.

A local resident of @laclabichecounty and graduate of @jawilliamsschool, Lyric is set to tee off with the 19 best female college golfers in Canada. Lyric's home golf turf @laclabichegolfclub has been where she has been refining her skills for the past few years.

The first day of competition will be October 17, 2023 and the tournament will conclude October 20, 2023.
